This is a group (2-3 students/group) assignment.
You are required to undertake a strategic analysis of a local SME using the concepts and language of strategic management. You must analyse the firm’s internal and external position. You then need to deliver a considered assessment of that information and an insightful interpretation what that means to inform the business owners of their firm’s current situation and possible alternative scenarios for its development and future competitive advantage.
The assignment should be approximately 2000 words. Your case study should contain the following:
- An internal and external analysis – you must equally consider both the internal and external environments.
- A summary of the internal and external key issues and justification of why they are significant.
- Development of two alternative scenarios for the business to consider
