Basic Criteria For the Course Paper

*******The topic for the course paper must be a theme that is included in the textbook. You may use the table of content as a guide for acceptable paper topics. Book is attached.

*Paper must be doubled spaced

* Must be in Arial size 12 font

*Must be between 2,000-2,500 words

*Must use at least 5 sources (books are allowed but peer review journals are preferred)

*APA style is required.

*No Internet Sources are Allowed (ex. Yahoo.com or Wikipedia, etc..)

*No First Person (Only allowed when discussing your community)

*Your paper cannot be a reproduced paper from another class and cannot be turned into another professor without his or her approval.

*There should be NO gaps between paragraphs. To remove gaps between paragraphs, please go to “paragraphs” tab and right below the option to make your paper doubled spaced, there is a box that says “Do not add space between paragraphs”…please click this box.

*No title pages

*Accurate work cited page. The citations used in your paper should all be in the work cited page. Further, the work cited page should not include citations of sources not included within the text.
