I have written a 2000 word essay (but I have gone over to 2400). I have asked my lecturer to look at it and she says I need to make changes. Please can it be looked at. I am attaching my assignment. Last assignment i received a pass and would like to ensure that i improve my mark a bit this time. I have already looked up many books and created a bibliography. Here are the comments by the lecturer I have read through the draft and added some comments. You can raise the academic value of this essay by firstly considering the title carefully . Do not write for us as specialist teachers, write for colleagues who may not be aware of what dyslexia is – so you will need some theoretical background to dyslexia. Take a step back from the programmes themselves in the beginning and maybe look at the research and studies behind their development. Comparisons/ differences could possibly be drawn here. You have made a good start but if you want to raise the mark you need to take out the descriptive explanations and proof read carefully. Make sure that your bibliography is spot on and do not use – don’t. Look behind the titles for the theoretical perspectives and back this up with your reading.
