Teacher’s instructions: You should make an argument and use reason and evidence to make it credible. You are free to define what you think constitutes human flourishing. It could be defined as having access to adequate material goods, a community, self-fulfillment, the capacity for judgment, cooperation, religious devotion, a web of human relationships, thriving families, or in some other way. Be prepared to state your position and defend it by using the authors that we have read, as well as your own critical analysis of the liberal tradition and its critics. Use the readings that we have had for the course to support your claims keeping in mind that our texts do not always agree with one another. Should be about 2 pages long.
