How the Covid-19 Pandemic Adversely affected Low-Income Households with School Age Children
The review of the literature is a synthesis of prior research studies that have attempted to address the issue under investigation. To begin a your review of the literature, you must start with a scholarly search of the literature. You may not use any textbooks in the curriculum and Wikipedia not a reliable source for citations, nor are you to simply Google topics.
Instead, it is recommended that you utilize library resources to locate appropriate databases, such as Epscohost, to locate relevant scholarly journal articles. Articles should be:
(a) recent (last 5 years and no more than 10 years ago),
(b) from counseling journals (whenever possible; see Appendix D), and
(c) empirical (disseminating the outcomes of a study). This assignment, worth 5 points, is to be approximately five (5) pages in length (not including title and reference pages) and APA formatted.
You do not need to include an abstract. Your paper will be graded based upon:
(1) overall quality of your writing,
(2) critical mindedness of your discussion of prior studies,
(3) your ability to synthesize knowledge from existing research,
(4) creativity in your expression, and
(5) style/APA formatting.
Paper must include 5 scholarly sources only.
