Instructions:
This will be a group project. You may either:
- Select an organization that is actively involved in supply management. Conduct an in depth analysis of an area of its supply management processes. The following is a suggestion of areas that could be explored: the key strategies/programs/technologies that the organization has implemented to manage its supply network, key competencies and weaknesses present in its supply network, supplier relationships, sourcing strategies, approach to quality issues, globalization issues.
Or
- Research one of the following topics:
- Automation and Robotics in Supply chains
- Use of Wearable and Mobile Technologies in Supply chains
- Key challenges and Opportunities in Global Sourcing and Supply Chain management
- Managing risk in a global supply chain
Information for this paper can be obtained from sources such as the Internet, journals, books, and personal interviews with supply management professionals. If you would like to research another topic other than the ones above it must first be approved by the instructor.
The paper must be typed, double-spaced using the Times New Roman font, 12-pt., and be no more than 5-6 pages in length (excluding cover page and bibliography). Remember to list your sources using the APA format and also to acknowledge the work of others that is cited in your paper. Failure to do so is considered as plagiarism and violates University policy.
