What is the difference between weather and climate? How do both relate to the science of meteorology?

Weather is the day to day events that occur in the atmosphere but climate is the overall trends in weather.

Weather is hard to predict because it changes constantly as humidity, temperature, pressure, etc. changes. The study of weather is Meteorology. After years of measuring weather an average trend can be observed. Climates change slowly and are studied in Climatology.
